Terms & Conditions
- Prior appointment is necessary to attend our workshops. Workshops are available in limited quantities and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each participant can only register for once.
- Participants are required to pay HK$100 in advance as seat reservation, and a full refund will be made after joining the event within 14 working days.
- Participants may select either 1 or 2 attendees during registration. In the case of a registration for two individuals, both e-tickets will be sent to the email address of the primary registrant who completed the payment.
- Each workshop session lasts for 30 minutes. To ensure smooth operations, participants are requested to arrive 5 minutes in advance. Late arrivals may have their spots offered to walk-in guests and may forfeit their eligibility to participate.
- Participants must be aged 6 or above. Kids participant (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult and supervised all the time.
- Please present your successful registration before workshop starts. Miele (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right to reject participants to attend the event whose cannot present relevant information.
- Participants should strictly follow the staff instructions to finish workshop. Staff may refuse any person from joining the above activities if he/she does not follow the instructions.
- Participants are required to present the confirmation email and QR code on the event day. After attending the workshop, participant will receive a full refund via the Eventbrite platform within 14 working days. No refund will be given for no-shows.
- In the event of a 2-individuals registration where only one attendee is present at the workshop, the attendee will receive a full refund within 14 working days through the Eventbrite platform, while the absent participant will not be eligible for a refund.
- Miele (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right to seek compensation from participants whose incorrect, careless or malicious actions have caused damage to our equipment.
- Any personal reason(s) for event absence, refund will not be accepted, including but not limited to sickness, injuries and clash of personal schedule, and no replacement of participation will be accepted. Participant(s) has responsibility to read this statement thoroughly, understand it and bear relevant risks.
- The workshop content is subject to change without prior notice.
- Miele (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right to cancel the workshop in case of inclement weather or other unforeseen reasons or circumstances. Appropriate announcements will be made to registered guests on the day of the workshop.
- Miele (Hong Kong) Limited has the right to suspend, terminate, cancel or extend the above activities or change/amend them at any time. The above terms and conditions may change without prior notice and without any liability to any party.
- Participants acknowledge that workshop may be photographed or videoed by third parties. Before deciding to participate in the cooking class, participants need to pay attention to the above matters and agree not to hold Miele (HK) Limited responsible for any related complaints.
- If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
- Miele (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right to terminate or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- In case of any disputes on the above Terms & Conditions, Miele (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right of final decision.
Adverse Weather Arrangements
- Class will be cancelled if the Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is declared by the HK government before the start time of the event. No make-up class arrangement will be made.
- If class must be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, Miele (HK) Limited will notify affected participants via registered emails as soon as possible.
- If the above said weather warning(s) or extreme situation is/ are declared during the cooking class, Miele (HK) Limited will help to arrange a safer shelter for participants to stay in until the situation allows for the event to continue. If the situation is not allowed, the event will end early, with no refund and event rescheduling.
- Whenever feasible, all cooking classes will resume as normal if the planned start time is after the signal is cancelled, depending on the time of the announcement.
- Except for typhoon signal No. 8 or above & black rainstorm warning, other weather conditions will not be affected.
General Terms & Conditions
- Participants acknowledge that cooking class may be photographed or videoed by third parties. Before deciding to participate in the cooking class, participants need to pay attention to the above matters and agree not to hold Miele (HK) Limited responsible for any related complaints.
- If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
- In case of any dispute, Miele (HK) Limited and relevant participating partners reserve the right to make the final decision.
